The bicycle platform bike-angebot has been on the market for over 10 years and has connected over 1,100 specialist shops and offers Germany’s largest selection of bicycles and e-bikes. In 2020, the Platform Group and its shareholder Dr. Dominik Benner joined the bike-angebot company. In order to accelerate further growth and provide the company with additional growth capital, there has now been a change in the management: bike expert Thorsten Bußmann and Christian Lange have joined the management team of bike-angebot. Friedemann Vieweger-Hanke will continue to be available to the company in order to strategically accompany the growth of the company. “After 10 years of building up, I am very happy to expand the management team and thank Friedemann Vieweger for continuing to accompany us here,” says Dr Dominik Benner, CEO of The Platform Group in Wiesbaden. In future, Friedemann Vieweger will focus on the technical expansion of the marketplace solution in Friedemann Vieweger-Hanke Software GmbH.
As a first step, Christian Lange and Thorsten Bußmann completed the moving to Böblingen this month and also completely re-equipped all employees: “The move from Neubulach to Böblingen is an important step for us: more employees are coming, the signs are pointing to growth and we want to inspire more dealers for our system,” says Christian Lange.
For Thorsten Bußmann, who is moving from Internetstores and Fahrrad.de to bike-angebot, the move to the bike-angebot platform is an important milestone: “With more than 30 years of experience in retail, I understand the needs of the dealers exactly and will take the platform even further. bike-angebot has great potential: throughout Germany, the marketplace has the most dealers on board and, above all, has solved the issue of interfaces well. The dealer gets everything from the online shop to payment from a single source. And since 2021, the topic of accessories has played an important role, which we will continue to expand.
The long-standing bike-angebot team will be expanded in the course of this expansion.
