The concept behind online platforms Doc.Green and ApoNow is to order medicines and have them delivered by a local pharmacy. Local stores are increasingly falling victim to e-commerce. The “death of the pharmacy” has many consequences, namely that individual and emergency care are no longer possible. By linking Doc.Green and ApoNow as online platforms with local pharmacies, CO2 emissions are reduced by more than half while preserving the townscape and many jobs. With Doc.Green and ApoNow, customers can actively support their local pharmacies.
