Our origins date back to 1882 when the first shoe and grocery store was founded. Today, The Platform Group AG is represented by Dr Dominik Benner and the leading team.

In 2012, our CEO and the 5th generation of the family, Dr Dominik Benner, took over. He began the transformation from retail to an internet platform by linking his shoe stores to existing online marketplaces (such as Amazon, eBay, etc.). Other retailers quickly got in touch to take the plunge into online business and to take advantage of Dr. Benner’s technical expertise.
With Schuhe24.de, our first proprietary platform was created. Since 2013, we are the leading platform for more than 2.000 retails.
We started our expansion into new sectors, such as fashion and sporting goods. The number of connected retailers and merchandise management systems grows every year to more than 2.000 drastically.
Next, we moved into the world of bags. Many of our previous fashion and shoe retailers also sold bags and other leather goods.
Our next venture was to expand into watches and jewellery. Numerous jewellers approached us, and from there we grew exponentially.
With MyStationary, The Platform Group entered the world of exclusive fashion boutiques.
With its international team, GINDUMAC sells machines online to a worldwide and their platform grows to more than 20m€ in 2022.

Particularly relevant in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Teech as an eLearing-platform helps schools to digitally bring their lessons to students.

We were able to gain fashionette AG to our Group in 2022. The platform focuses on bags, shoes and accessories in the luxury segment.
We now also offer subscriptions for cars via the ViveLaCar.com platform. A selection of over 300 cars that are immediately available make for an exciting overall package for the customer.
The new platform motorprofi.com is being created in cooperation with the company SimonProfiTechnik and will become part of our group. The platform focuses on garden and forestry products such as lawn mowers, chainsaws and much more.
Avocadostore.de is one of the oldest platforms for sustainable products that meet Avocadostore’s ecological, fair and social standards. In addition to well-known brands, we also offer a stage for small labels, local shops and young start-ups.
