Our top management is constantly working to move our company forward. Our company is headed by Dr. Dominik P. Benner, Sven Hülsenbeck, Björn Minnier, Christoph Wilhelmy, Frederic von Borries, Sven Schumann and Sarah Millholland. Together they manage the business successfully.

Dr. Dominik P. Benner

After studying business administration at the University of St. Gallen and at Insead Fontaineblau, Dr. Benner received his Dr. oec. HSG degree. After holding various management positions and holding power of attorney at Bilfinger Berger, Dr Benner was appointed Managing Director within the juwi Group in 2011, where he held several management and project positions. In 2012, he joined the family business, which he transformed completely in the direction of e-commerce. Since 2013, numerous platforms such as Shoes24 and Outfits24 have been created, and since 2018, active acquisitions of companies have been made to achieve more strategic reach. Dominik Benner is married, lives in Wiesbaden and has three children.

Sven Hülsenbeck

Sven Hülsenbeck is an experienced IT executive with an impressive development from a solid technical education to many years of practical experience in software development and strategic management positions. His career path demonstrates continuous growth and deep roots in information technology. Sven Hülsenbeck worked as a software developer at Falke for a remarkable 15 years. In this role, he gained extensive experience in the design, development and implementation of software solutions and contributed significantly to the company’s IT projects. In October 2022, Sven Hülsenbeck made a significant career move and joined The Platform Group AG, where he took on the position of Head of IT. In this role, he was responsible for managing the entire IT department until May 2025, steering strategic IT initiatives and ensuring the smooth operation of the technological infrastructure. Building on his successes and expertise, Sven Hülsenbeck was appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of The Platform Group AG in June 2025. In his current role as CTO, he bears overall responsibility for the Group’s technological vision, strategy and implementation and plays a key role in shaping its technological future. His career reflects a consistent development from technical expertise to strategic leadership responsibility.

Sven Hülsenbeck
CTO

Björn Minnier
CFO

Björn Minnier is an experienced leader with extensive expertise in the areas of M&A, portfolio management, finance (CFO) and operations (COO). Since 2025, Mr. Minnier has been shaping the strategic direction of The Platform Group AG as Head of M&A and Portfolio Management. From 2023 to 2024, Mr. Minnier served as Holding Managing Director of WB D2C Group GmbH, a retail holding company of the Droege Group. This holding company, with a group turnover of over 500 million euros and 1,500 employees, was set up for the Droege Investment Group with his involvement in order to strategically manage 14 portfolio companies and leverage synergies. Within the WB D2C portfolio, he also took over direct management and profit responsibility for seven portfolio companies in the period from 2018 to 2024. His area of responsibility covered the entire M&A life cycle: from carrying out financial and operational due diligence, preparing acquisition decisions and supporting the acquisition process through to the strategic and procedural integration of the acquired companies. In addition, he was significantly involved in restructuring measures and actively promoted the growth of the portfolio companies under the motto “enabling for growth”. Another important aspect of his work was the coaching and development of junior managing directors within the Group. His career demonstrates a clear strength in strategic corporate development, operational excellence and the management of complex investment structures in high-growth markets.

Björn Minnier

CFO

Björn Minnier is an experienced leader with extensive expertise in the areas of M&A, portfolio management, finance (CFO) and operations (COO). Since 2025, Mr. Minnier has been shaping the strategic direction of The Platform Group AG as Head of M&A and Portfolio Management. Christoph Wilhelmy

Christoph Wilhelmy studied International Business Administration with a focus on strategic management at a private university in Mannheim and the University of Newcastle in the UK. Since 2009, he has held management positions in marketing and eCommerce at internationally renowned companies such as Eli Lilly, Kingfisher, Abbott and COTY. At Kingfisher, he was responsible for setting up eCommerce for the subsidiary Screwfix, while at Abbott Diabetes Care he played a key role in developing the digital business around the FreeStyle Libre product and led the D2C division to billions in sales. He worked for many years in Germany, the UK and the USA and led international project teams. Before joining The Platform Group, Christoph Wilhelmy worked as an eCommerce consultant – including for the luxury brands of COTY: Chloé, Burberry, Marc Jacobs and Gucci, where he was responsible for eRetail & eMedia. He has been COO of The Platform Group since 2024. In this role, he is responsible for software development, marketing, product data management and customer service. Together with his teams, he develops the TPG One and TPG Pay projects, among others. Christoph Wilhelmy works on a voluntary basis as a start-up consultant. In his spare time, he plays ice hockey for the US Army Hockey Club in Wiesbaden. His guiding principle: “The future is won by those who shape it – not those who wait for it.”

Frederic von Borries

After graduating from high school, Frederic von Borries founded his first own company in e-commerce – an early step that gave him valuable insights into digital business models and online retail. In July 2020, he began his career at The Platform Group as a Marketplace Specialist. Just one year later, as Head of Marketplace, he assumed responsibility for the expansion of marketplace activities and the further development of internal platform solutions. Frederic von Borries has been Chief Platform Officer (CPO) since March 2024 and an authorized signatory since May 2024. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic platform architecture, the development of digital partnerships and the technological scaling of the marketplace landscape. Another focus of his work for around two years has been post-merger integration: he works with the Group to leverage synergies following company acquisitions and integrate the new investments into the system landscape in a structured manner. He also supports the onboarding of new partner companies in close cooperation with the teams. His guiding principle: “The only thing that is constant is change.” This understanding shapes his entrepreneurial approach – agile, solution-oriented and forward-looking.

Frederic von Borries

Sven Schumann

Sven Schumann is a dynamic and versatile e-commerce expert who has been self-employed as an Independent Marketing Consultant since November 2018 with a perspective until 2025. In this role, he makes his extensive expertise available to companies, develops individual marketing strategies and supports their successful implementation. From October 2023 to March 2025, he was Interim Head of E-Commerce & Marketing at Stryve. In this key position, he was temporarily responsible for the management and strategic direction of the company’s entire e-commerce activities, managed the relevant teams and made a significant contribution to optimizing the digital presence and increasing online sales. Previously, from December 2018 to March 2021, Sven Schumann worked as Marketing, Sales & Business Development Partner at Hypify. Here, he used his skills to closely dovetail marketing initiatives with sales targets and overall business development, identify new growth potential and establish promising collaborations. This phase of entrepreneurial independence was preceded by a sabbatical from July to October 2018, which offered him space for reorientation and professional development. Sarah Millholland

Sarah Millholland is an experienced and dedicated HR leader who is currently contributing her expertise as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at The Platform Group AG. She has held this responsible position since March 2024 and in this role plays a key role in shaping the company’s strategic HR work, talent development and organizational culture. She joined The Platform Group AG in January 2023, where she worked as Head of HR until February 2024. In this role, she already laid important foundations for the further development of the HR department and took over the operational and strategic management of the HR department before being promoted to the CHRO position. Prior to joining The Platform Group AG, Ms. Millholland had a long and impressive career at Lufthansa, where she worked from August 1998 to January 2022, a period of over 23 years. During this period, she developed steadily and took on increasingly responsible tasks. Most recently, from June 2011 to January 2022, she held the position of Team Leader Cabin Crew for Flight Personnel India. In this role, she was responsible for the management, coordination and development of her team and gained valuable experience in an international environment as well as in the management of operational HR processes and employee support. Her career shows a clear development from operational team leadership with an international focus to comprehensive strategic personnel responsibility at the highest level.

Sarah Millholland
